Dalston Junior Black Reds are proud to be recognised as a FA Charter Standard Club.

Clubs which achieve The FA Charter Standard accreditation are challenged to maintain high standards and, where appropriate, to improve and progress to new levels.

The accreditation makes a positive difference to the way clubs are run and to people’s enjoyment of football. The FA supports all grassroots clubs to reach Charter Standard status through our network of County FA’s.

Clubs and leagues work in partnership with County FA’s to meet the criteria needed to achieve the accreditation.

Once clubs achieve the FA Charter Standard Award they need to maintain the criteria each season, this is called the FA Charter Standard Annual Health Check. This tracks the validity of our voluntary workforce in relation to coach education and welfare and Identifies our workforce / coach education requirements for the season.
